Center for Health Services Research

The Center for Health Services Research is the research arm of the Institute of Health Administration. The research faculty and staff are dedicated to scholarly inquiry, which contributes to the current body of knowledge on health services administration and management.

The Institute of Health Administration takes full advantage of its organizational location within the nationally ranked Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University. Center faculty engage in collaborative research with partners across the Robinson College of Business and the university. The growth of the institute’s emphasis on health informatics is creating exciting opportunities to collaborate with researchers from Robinson’s internationally known Computer Information Systems department.

The ongoing collaborative relationships with the Georgia Health Policy Center (GHPC) are particularly strong, resulting in the appointment of two faculty members as GHPC research fellows. Through the collaboration of the Center for Health Services Research and GHPC, rigorous academic research can be designed to meet the needs of policy makers in the state, and faculty have the opportunity to disseminate their work to decision makers in the state.
